On the Way to Chaco Canyon
Tomorrow at 9am (Thursday, 4/29), my good friend Pat Berrett will pick me and take me to another good friend’s (David Duplessie) house. We will meet Keane, another good friend, there. We will all pile into David’s trusty 4×4 truck and off we will go to Chaco Canyon (pictured), rain or shine. By the way, we are all licensed (?) professionals, who have more than 100-years of photographic experience between us. We will be leaving the crutches behind!
The last time I visited Chaco Canyon was in 2013 with Pat, and two other people who don’t live here (any more), but they do come back from time-to-time. Doran Smith and Paula Scott enjoyed that day, as well.
As with all our day-trips, we never quite know what to expect as far as weather, terrain, etc., is considered. It could be nice here in Albuquerque, but it could be quite different after an almost 3-hour drive. If we are lucky, there will be pictures to share, and stories to tell. Stay tuned. Did I mention there will be elevations to be considered? Aaaargh!
